Mr. Steven Wong
I'm Steven Marc Wong Sr., and I'm honored to be your Driver Education Instructor. Now, don't be fooled by my dashing good looks; when I'm on the road, I'm all about business - the business of teaching you to be a safe and courteous driver.

With over 30 years of driving experience under my belt, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. I'm certified by the Hawaii Department of Transportation with Instructor ID No. 369, which means I'm authorized to teach underage students. For those under 18, obtaining a Hawaii Driver's License requires certification from a Hawaii DOT Certified Instructor, and that's where I come in. But don't worry; I also teach adults, and I'm known to be even more patient with them.

As this is my private business, I want you to know that my family and I proudly embrace the Christian faith. However, we welcome individuals of all faiths or those with no religious affiliation, and I promise not to initiate discussions about religion unless, by some miraculous turn of events, it relates to driving. Just rest assured, I'll silently send a prayer our way before we hit the road.

My primary goal is to ensure that you become a confident and responsible driver, ready to navigate the roads safely. I look forward to embarking on this educational journey with you, and together, we'll pave the way for a lifetime of safe and enjoyable driving experiences.

I'm Matthew Wong, and I'm excited to serve as one of your Driver Education Instructors. You might recognize the distinguished gentleman above me, Steven Wong, who also happens to be my father. Interestingly, I was part of his very first driver's education course, alongside several of my friends, when I was just 16 years old. Today, I bring over a decade of driving experience in Hawaii to the table. Like my dad, I am certified by the Hawaii Department of Transportation, with Instructor ID No. 499, enabling me to teach underage students.
In addition to my passion for driving education, I bring a unique blend of experience to the table. My educational and professional background spans Psychology, Communications, Higher Education, and the dynamic world of Real Estate. Yes, that's right – I'm also deeply involved in the real estate industry as the Team Leader of my real estate sales team, Team Alaka'i.
With my extensive experience in both driving and real estate, I understand the importance of education and guidance in helping individuals achieve their goals. While you'll primarily find me in the classroom, my real estate insights have further honed my communication and leadership skills, which I'm eager to share with you.

With a background in Marketing, I've honed the art of effective communication and understanding people's needs. This skillset has been instrumental in my commitment to making a positive impact on those I encounter, whether in marketing campaigns, radio broadcasts, or food management.
My experience in the world of radio has taught me the power of connecting with an audience and delivering messages in a way that resonates. As we navigate the roads together, I'll bring this same spirit of connection to our driver education journey.
Additionally, my background in food management has reinforced the importance of attention to detail, safety, and adhering to established protocols. These principles directly translate into safe driving habits, which I am eager to impart to you.
One of my core beliefs is that driving safely isn't just a personal responsibility but a way to contribute to the safety and well-being of our community.
